Funeral Care
When someone passes away, a family member or trusted person can always contact us.
Those first moments can be overwhelming. If someone passes away at home, the first step is to contact a doctor. In a hospital or residential care home, this is usually arranged for you. The doctor officially confirms the death and issues a (digital) death certificate. Take the time you need to spend a few more moments with your loved one.
Afterwards, you can call us at any time, day or night. We are here for you and will guide you step by step through the arrangements for the funeral.
If your loved one has passed away at home, we will arrange a suitable time to bring them to our funeral home. There, we provide the final care and, if you wish, prepare your loved one for viewing. You can provide the clothes you would like them to wear. We will also ask for their identity card so that we can take care of the necessary administrative arrangements.
Would you prefer to keep your loved one at home a little longer? That is also possible — we will help you make the necessary arrangements.
Guide you through ervery step
We will arrange a time to discuss the funeral together, either at one of our funeral homes or at your home. We listen carefully to your wishes and talk you through the different possibilities.
Together, we decide on the time of the funeral, the funeral stationery and the choices regarding the coffin, urn and flowers. You tell us what matters to you — we take care of the practical arrangements and guide you every step of the way.
Paying your respects
You can visit your loved one at our funeral homes in Overijse and Bertem, in a peaceful setting and at your own pace.
Some families also choose to arrange a public viewing, usually on the evening before the funeral, giving friends and acquaintances the opportunity to pay their respects.
The day of the funeral
On the day of the funeral, we are there for you throughout, wherever the ceremony takes place. We take care of all the practical details, allowing you to focus on saying goodbye. And whenever you have questions, we are there to help.

- Cremation or burial – a personal choice, regardless of the type of ceremony
- Registration of the death – we take care of the formalities and provide you with the necessary documents
- Coffin and urn – we help you find a suitable choice from our wide selection
- Funeral stationery – fully personalised according to your wishes and quickly printed in our own print shop
- Obituary notice – if you wish, we can arrange its publication
- Final resting place or destination of the ashes – we discuss the different possibilities with you
- Transport – always carried out respectfully and in accordance with legal requirements
- Flowers – flowers, remembrance gifts or, if you prefer, a donation to a charity
- The ceremony – in our ceremony hall, a church, the crematorium or another location that feels right for you
- Reception after the funeral – a time to come together after saying goodbye
